Baby Camryn

3 Mar

This family welcomed a baby girl into the world a week ago.  The 5 of them came into the toasty studio and I got to wrap this tiny sweet in some of my fun new fabrics that came in this week (floral wrap and fabric from cloth apothecary, dusty rose chunky knit made by meeeeee)! Enjoy this little preview, and congratulations to this lovely family.

Baby Gracie

1 Mar

This is going to be a teeny sneak preview of this teeny sweetie. I just want to keep as many images a surprise for this happy family as I can, though it is hard to not post them all and show off this little darling! I will leave that up to her mommy and daddy when they get their whole gallery.

Baby Khloe

25 Feb

Most newborn photos take place within the first 2 weeks, and after that babies tend to be more lively and curious about their surroundings – but that doesn’t mean the window of time for pictures has closed!! This little peanut is 5 weeks old in her pictures!

This is in my living room using window light instead of the studio with my lights becaaaaauuse I blew the circuit running too many space heaters, hahah oops. As my breaker panel was unlabeled, I decided instead of fiddling, we could take advantage of the soft light from my large living room window.

Thanks to Kristen for going with the flow with me! Thanks to Khloe for snoozin the whole time.

Last fall mini family session

3 Nov

I wrapped up my October minis with this nice family.  The kids were amazing for posing the first little bit and when they had their fill I told them to go have fun

Curniss and Chris

27 Oct

It can be common to see a couple tie their interests and tastes into their weddings.  It might be part of their theme – country, modern, classy, or in wedding favours, chosen flowers, etc.

Being a very outdoorsy couple, (you can read about their adventures over at followourfeet.com) Curniss and Chris originally did their ceremony on the Giant, doing a hike in with a couple close friends and someone to record it all.  We got to watch that film at the “official” friends and family ceremony at the Finlandia Hall.

It was a very northwestern Ontario party.  Pinetree Catering’s food truck for dinner, all their flowers were GROWN LOCALLY by a family friend (so beautiful and smelled amazing), the festivities took place downtown Port Arthur, close to our beautiful lake.

So thankful I got to be your photographer, guys!  Congratulations!

Fata Family

15 Oct

Another perfect day for some sunny golden fall photos!  Us mamas used to visit before the kids were all in school, so I brought my two little assistants with me to get re-acquainted and they ended up leaving with a rainbow loom bracelet each! 😀 We’re hoping the school boards have a few more coinciding PA days.

Onto a peek of this cute family!
